Come celebrate America with Words on Wheels in Waukegan’s American Independence Parade (Waukegan, IL). American Independence Parade is hosted by Waukegan Park District.  The Grand Marshal this year will be Waukegan Historical Society members, honored for celebrating their 50th anniversary.

Come volunteers to be a WOW walker in the parade. You will get a colorful "Words on Wheels" t-shirt, lots of bubbles, and candy to share.
Starting point: Sheridan Road and Franklin Street. It follows Sheridan Road north to Greenwood Avenue.
