The Jubilee Days Festival is an annual event held each year over the Labor Day Weekend in Zion, IL.

With its origins as a celebration of the harvest and God's blessings on the community, the festival has evolved into Zion's celebration of its unique heritage.

This year’s fundraiser will be a comedy cabaret show, “You Can’t Be Serious!” Acts of Kindness Cabaret will be showcasing their talents in a transformative art of cabaret.

This fundraiser event will include: a grand prize drawing, silent auction, and our “Giving Tree”. Medium Hors d’oeuvres will be served. Cash bar will be available.

The evening event will be filled with honorary guests and volunteers, inspiring speakers, our generous contributors and past supporters, entertainment, dancing, and opportunities to network with others. There will be several chances for you to WIN some fabulous prizes, a silent auction, and opportunities to GIVE with the "Giving Tree". There will be an assortment of food tables.

Come celebrate with Words on Wheels in Waukegan’s American Independence Parade of 2018

Join us for some great music, good food, and awesome prizes--all for a wonderful cause.  This is our third musical fundraiser. The money raised helps fill WOW activity bags with books, puppet, and bottle of bubbles that are handed out to each child during our visits.

This November 28th, join the movement and give - whether it’s some of your time, a donation, gift or the power of your voice in your local community. Join Words on Wheels on #GivingTuesday and GIVE. Your gift or time will impact at-risk children in communities in Lake County, IL.

LEADING FOR GOOD is Lake County’s volunteer networking event for professionals interested in taking a leadership position within a nonprofit organization. Join us to meet a wide variety of organizations and explore opportunities to serve on a board of directors, young professional/associate board, or a specialized committee. 

Words on Wheels will be participating in the 2017 Zion Jubilee Day Parade. Come Join Words on Wheels and march in the Jubilee Days Parade. We need volunteers or "walkers" to pass out bubbles to the crowd while in the parade. Have fun supporting a great cause and get a free WOW t-shirt for your participation.

Words on Wheels will be at the Vista Woman's Expo and Health Fair to provide information about our organization, volunteer opportunities, and to provide helpful tips about reading to your child.

Join us at the North Chicago Community Days! Words on Wheels will be one of the vendors, and we will be passing out FREE books and puppets to children. We will share information about our organization and our mission. Find us at vendor tent #14.
