Words on Wheels will be at the Lake County Health Center Community Center in North Chicago to give books, finger puppets, and bubbles to children. A community leader will read to the children as part of "Leaders are Readers." In addition, there will be a craft table activity. This is a free event. Please join us.

This is Waukegan's 18th Annual Ray Bradbury's Dandelion Wine Fine Arts Festival. The Dandelion Wine Fine Arts Festival is dedicated to showcasing local and regional artists and venues, championing the arts, remaining free to the public, offering low participation fees to artists, and remembering one of Waukegan’s favorite sons, author Ray Bradbury.

Words on Wheels will be participating in the 2016 Zion Jubilee Day Parade in Zion, Illinois. To promote our involvement with the community, Words on Wheels will have a vendor table to provide books and puppets to children. We will be participating in the parade.
