Wayne Lee

Wayne Lee has been a Board member and volunteer since 2015. Wayne is a retired teacher, with over 24 years of experience teaching in Zion Elementary School District 6. He had been touching the lives of second and fourth graders. Wayne holds Illinois professional teaching licenses in Elementary Education and in Early Childhood. He holds a M.Ed degree in Curriculum and Instruction from National Louis University, and a BS degree in Elementary Education from Northern Illinois University.

As well as being a volunteer for Words On Wheels, Wayne is the manager and social media specialist for WoW’s social media platforms and their website. He has created most of the WoW videos that you see on our website, Facebook, and YouTube channel. Wayne brings a wealth of well-rounded experiences in the educational field, in technology, and in start-up business. He was involved in business development for Data Rescue MDs, a data recovery company. He later became the co-founder and VP of Training and Education for GOe7 Technologies, a digital-asset security and protection company. Most recently, Wayne was a SME with Lionbridge.
